Horseheads church of Christ

The Horseheads church of Christ invites you to worship our loving and gracious Lord and Savior with us. Our prayer is that you will feel the love of Jesus and will know that His Holy Spirit shines bright within this congregation.

The church meets at 165 Miller Street in Horseheads. It is on the corner of Miller Street and Westinghouse Rd. (Rte 14) diagonally across from Jubilee Shopping Plaza.

The following is a list of times the congregation meets:

Ministries:

• The Horseheads church of Christ is involved in Friendspeak. Friendspeak is a Conversational English program using the bible, particularly the book of Luke. It allows us to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with people from all cultures and languages while they learn English. • Prayer Warriors meet, visit, and pray every Friday evening. We meet at the church building at 6:30 p.m. and then head out to visit and to spend time in fellowship and prayer.
• A small group of ladies meet once a month to tie-off handmade quilts which are given to the Arnot Hospital for the babies in their Neo-natal unit. Our desire is for these precious babies and their parents to feel the love of Jesus wrapped around them.
• Every March we have a Ladies' Day for women from local churches and other churches of Christ in NY. It is always on the 3rd Saturday in March and runs from 9:00 a.m. to about 1 p.m. Every year we enjoy speakers, we sing praises to our Lord, enjoy a continental breakfast and after the speakers, we enjoy a luncheon. Come and join in this wonderful, spiritually uplifting day. The cost is a heart full of praise and joy.
• We are currently starting a new program called Lads to Leaders and Lasses to Leaderettes for the children. There are many activities that are being planned and all are welcome to participate.
